I knew there was something she wanted to talk about…the moment we sat down “well there were two reasons I wanted to come to lunch…one was to have lunch with you…two was to talk about what ted is doing” Ted is going to have more applicants come in and try out for the job…I am being removed so they can make sure they make the right choice. They plan on hiring permanently during the summer. Christy didn’t want to have to tell me but she wants me to be the one to get it…I am going to send her my updated resume and she said that she would keep it in case someone else gets the receptionist job, she has a few more openings that I could fill…If I don’t hear back from those other people I am up shit creek. I am finishing up the day today and she said that the staffing people were going to try and keep me busy while they are making their decision. So I guess this is my last day for a while…maybe forever. Christy just kept apoligizing but it isnt her fault...So I was officially told to just go for a little and that they would let me know in about a month and a half. Because I can sit around and wait for that long. They are going to be really disappointed when I am not avaliable in another month. This is such a stupid situation.

Life is a bitch. Nothing really ever turns out the way that it should. Or maybe I am just to stubborn to know when to give it up. Perhaps it IS my fault that these things continue to happen. At the drop of a hat I will give up everything but fuck me if no one else has that capability....fishing for excuses to just quit and such. I dont really think that I can handle much more. Slowly but surely my dreams will be shredded until there is nothing left but an empty shell. By the time I get everything back in order it will be too late to accomplish them. So why bother having dreams? Get lectured for not having career dreams because other dreams dont matter. I dont have a dream career. I know what I am good at and I can just do that. It is after all just money. But you only have childish dreams that dont matter anymore. It is time for grown up dreams. Like work. That is pretty much the only dreams I am allowed to have. What I wouldnt give to just go somewhere without anyone else around. Just to exsist. There isnt anything else for me to give up. But I am childish and stupid for getting upset about giving up anything that I have given up. I realize that this is really stupid and a laundry list of other things but no one really sees my blog that doesnt already know me so who gives a fuck. I sure dont. I am floating through life and wishing death would just hurry up and get here. Not that I want to kill myself or anything....but maybe just dissapearing would do everyone some good.

Rules are just there for the people who make them. To make people feel insignificant and stupid. I am really sick of being made to feel stupid. I can only handle so much at once. Not everything at once. Heaven forbid I do anything bad again like make a rule or that will just be too tough. Then it would just be done....no more. No one really gets it. They try but they are just too set in their own ways to see any other point of view. Or they have their heads so far up their own asses they dont even see the truth when it is put right in front of them. Why should I bust my ass so other people can just have everything they want without any thoughts toward "hey...I wonder if I should give in on this....sacrafice a little to try and make up for the lack of major sacrafices I havent made..." But no, I am not that lucky. I guess you always get what you deserve.

So much has happened since I last blogged I don't even know where to begin...A lack of sleep has rendered my mind useless...I can't even think of any reason to be at work...There is nothing for me to do...so I sit and think about how I can go home...Still no ideas have come up, which is slightly aggravating. I have a few potential reasons but while they are reason enough for me I dont think they will qualify for reasons with any superior. I have never been good at faking sick so that is out. I look sick today but my supervisor isnt here to tell me to go home. I dont even know who I would approach about leaving early. There is not a clear picture as to who I report to when she is not here. I wont make it through a whole day.

There are several new additions to the shop...be sure and check them out! I have made it so far today without being able to pinch anyone but the day is still young. Not really anything to do today...Except try and figure out how to make the cat stop scratching at the window at 3 am. Any suggestions would be most appreciated...But other then that just a boring day.

My cat is a very odd creature...He is very vocal and demanding. Should you decide not to give him what he wants when he wants it he will drive you crazy until you do...Take this morning for instance...at 4am he decided that he wanted food...Couldnt wait until 6 when he normally gets his food...(I assure you he is by no means starving...) Normally you learn to ignore the crying and carrying on from the cat. But then he started trying to rip the blinds on the window down....grrr. Of course you know I gave in to that....lol But it just kinda drives you a little batty to be forced to give in to the cat because he wont rest until you do...Here is a picture of him trying to disrupt the photographing of my most recent additions...

Since I haven’t given much background into my mind, here is a little insight as to how I see myself:
I am one of a kind. I can race a horse through the woods at breakneck speed, change the carburetor on my jeep (along with other repairs), be your worst enemy or your best friend, and still manage to look like a lady. I have a wild Irish temper and mouth to match and don’t hesitate to use either of them. I can pack up and move, or get a sudden whim to leave town and just go with it. I plan on living in the country where your closest neighbor is miles away and you can see all of the stars at night. For those of you who don’t travel into the middle of nowhere you can never understand what that means. I drive around the country looking to see where roads end and how far they can take me. Maybe that scares a lot of people but I am not concerned with how others view me. My small handful of friends see the truth and I suppose that is all that matters. No one else will ever really understand it. So that is a description of myself through my own perception. Many people will probably see it differently or completely the opposite, but my opinion is the one that should really matter. So perhaps this ramble will further explain what some already knew and others are learning for the first time. Perhaps I have struck your fancy or tickled your curiosity. If that is the case, feel free to send me a message. If not, I will never know about it anyway. Adieu.

What to do....

Another day…another dollar. Try some things out with my ring mandrel but they turned out a little strange…Hopefully I will be able to figure out some solutions to the problems I was having and get some rings up in the shop. We will see how that goes. Plan on getting some of my woodworks in the shop today since those supplies came last night. Work seems to be progressing normally and hopefully will continue to do so in the future. Cloud woke me up this morning at 6 am by playing with the kitty box door. Grrr…that was fun. I ordered business cards yesterday so I can be all professional like but the shipping options suck and they won’t arrive for about 3 weeks once they are shipped. This is what they will look like...

Just having a really lax day, purchasing some more supplies and trying to figure out where to find more of the ones I already have that are no longer in the stores. Why do they always stop carrying something after I buy it? That is really aggravating. So just another day of normalcy or some variation of normal…I leave you to decide THAT definition.

Finally most of my supplies came in...Did alot of driving this past weekend...drove back to statesville, then to charlotte, then to fort mill and then home to richmond...(the return trip with a cat carrier in my lap) and of course still ended up forgetting things that I needed to have up here so I will just have to go and buy them sometime this week...Haven't had a chance to play with my new supplies yet but hopefully later this week I will have some energy to pull them out and begin the creation of something interesting...Maybe I can get another update with that later on this week.

Right now...who knows? Maybe life throws you curve balls for a reason....maybe something better is actually out there...Or maybe this really is as good as it gets. A simple stupid mistake on a name and all the things you did right are completely worthless...I hate working for people who don't appreciate that I am human and humans do tend to make mistakes...If you want supposed perfection, hire a computer or a robot to do the work instead of humans so you can deal with it malfunctioning. Technology is a convinent curse. Everyone loves it and hates it at the same time....Well....I guess I am done ranting. Here are some new items listed and alot of the things that I ordered came today so I will get to play with those too...yea!!

So the first day was a little rough...(Definatly the wrong choice in shoes...lol) but overall everything is progressing smoothly. Hopefully it will continue to do so....Other than that just waiting on my first check to go and finally buy supplies...I can't wait...And I'll be home that weekend so that makes it even better...Thats all for now...

Now for future projects....I am going to dable a bit in some screen prints and woodworking...Once I can get to the store and get some materials I will post some updates on those...Some prints will be posted as soon as I get them watermarked....Hopefully sometime this week...Thats all for right now...
